Listening: Video playlist

Two young, German bloggers, Nikita and Daniela, explain their morning routine. Daniela explains how she wakes up at 7am every morning and is always on time; Nikita explains how he gets up at 8am every morning and is always late – Daniela always takes a shower, whereas Nikita never has time. Daniela has time for a healthy breakfast, whereas Nikita never has time because he is always trying to find his keys –he always takes a banana and then is seen wearing a banana costume because he is a banana. Daniela explains how she is organised and Nikita explains how he is chaotic, yet they both have different and effective morning routines.

This could be used to engage pupils in talking about their morning routine. They could compare how they get ready for school with the routines of the pupils in the clip.
